At CAE we believe it’s fundamental that disabled voices are present in decision-making about the environment and that’s why we’re proud to announce our brand new project, Access London.
Access London will upskill disabled adults living or working in London, for FREE.
The project is funded by City Bridge Trust, the funding arm of Bridge House Estates, who are committed to supporting the wellbeing of individuals and communities in London.
As the ‘new normal’ is being shaped, those designing our rapidly changing streetscapes need to commit to making these shared spaces a world-class example of equity, community and harmony for everyone, including disabled people.
How to apply
Access London is for you if you’re disabled, living or working in London and are interested in learning more about creating inclusive environments. It will arm you with the knowledge you need to have your say on how our cities take shape.
Our courses include training on the principles of inclusive design, access auditing, wayfinding in the pedestrian environment and accessible housing.
Please complete and submit our short online application form to apply for an Access London funded place on one of our courses.
Email training@cae.org.uk if you have any questions about the project.
