The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged the finances of all organisations, not least non-profits, charities and community groups.
We’ve found a few places your charity or local community group can turn to for financial support, if needed.
Big Society Capital
Big Society Capital has created a £100 million emergency response fund for social enterprises and charities affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Applications for support from the fund are reviewed on a first come, first served basis, and the deadline for submissions is 5pm, Friday 13 November.
The closing date of the fund is under constant review, so it’s a good idea to submit your application as soon as possible.
Kingston’s Community Grant Programme
The London Borough of Kingston runs a Neighbourhood Community Grants Programme for community and voluntary sector groups needing funding for local projects.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available for projects in Surbiton, South of the Borough, Kingston Town and Maldens & Coombe.
Postcode Recovery Fund
The Postcode Recovery Fund awards up to £1 million to projects that address the many issues affecting communities as we recover from the effects of the pandemic.
The closing date for support from this fund is 5:30pm, Friday 30 October.
The Esmee Fairburn Foundation
The Esmee Fairburn Foundation gives funding to UK charities for projects that promote the natural world, secure a fairer future and strengthen the bonds in communities.
There’s no deadline for support from this fund.
