CAE’s new virtual training course

News

New live online courseCentre for Accessible Environments (CAE) has launched its first virtual course: An Introduction to Access and Inclusive Design. This 3 hour long session will run on the 25 June and is the first of a series of courses that CAE will run in a friendly and interactive online forum using video communication platform, Zoom.

The course, which has been developed based on the most popular CAE training content, will discuss the breadth and scope of access and inclusion while providing an overview of the relevant legislation including the Equality Act.

This training session will provide a useful introduction for anyone considering a career in access, designers improving their knowledge and those looking towards possible future accreditation from the National Register of Access Consultants. On the day, the programme will cover: Inclusive design and access awareness and the overview of the Equality Act 2010, planning policy and Building Regulations relating to access.

CAE’s Access and Training Advisor, Nasser Rad said “We’re really excited to be offering this course online for the first time. With all the quality of content and CAE’s most highly regarded trainers leading the virtual classroom, it represents excellent value for money and a great introduction to the world of access and equality legislation.”
