Funding opportunities to improve your not-for-profit

News

If your not-for-profit has had a tough 18 months financially, City Bridge Trust has a number of grants that you can apply for to improve your sustainability in 2022 and beyond.

Access audit grant

City Bridge Trust offers grants of up to £5,000 to help you improve access at your not-for-profit.

An independent access audit is the first step towards improved access, and it can flag ways in which your building could be more accessible to the wider community.

The grant can also be used to fund a design appraisal or disability awareness training.

Read more about access audit grants.

Capital funding

Capital funding from City Bridge Trust will give you up to £100,000 towards access improvements.

Organisations must provide evidence that they have carried out a recent access audit before they can apply for this grant.

Eco-audit grant

You can apply for a grant to cover the costs of an eco-audit carried out by an approved consultant.

An eco-audit looks at an organisation’s current environmental performance and provides a detailed plan of how it can be improved.

You can read more about eco-audit grants here.

There are no deadlines for the City Bridge Trust grants outlined here, so you can apply at any time.

If you would like to find out more about the grants, please email the ASAS Advisor, Natasha Davies, at asas@cae.org.uk.

Architectural Heritage Fund grant

Meanwhile, the Architectural Heritage Fund is offering grants of up to £15,000 for charities or social enterprises that have the ability to acquire and convert a historic building.

The application deadline is Monday 10 January 2022.
