The Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE) has launched a new webinar series on inclusive environments, with sessions available to book now.
CAE is the UK’s leading authority on inclusive design and management, which aims to help secure environments that can be accessed, used and enjoyed by everyone, including disabled and older people.
The webinars are ideal for anyone involved in designing and managing spaces and buildings including architects, designers, building and facilities managers, HR teams, access advisors and more. Every attendee will receive a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate of attendance to add to their portfolio.
The one-and-a-half-hour lunch time webinars will explore the technical elements of inclusive design in the built environment and discuss best practice in the field. Sessions will be delivered by Caroline Lewis, Vin Goodwin, Marcos Frangos and David Biggins, leading experts in the field of inclusive design.
The first webinar, Accessible High Streets, takes place on 26 November 2025 from 12.30pm to 2pm, and is being delivered by Caroline Lewis, CAE Access Consultant and Director at Access Design Solutions.
In addition to accessible high streets, the training includes:
- Introduction to Inclusive Design Standards with Marcos Frangos
- Design and Neurodiversity with Vin Goodwin
- Accessible Healthcare Environments with David Biggins
- Accessible Office Spaces with Vin Goodwin.
CAE’s Head of Business Development, Fara Muneer, said: “These expert-led webinars provide an easy way to embed training on inclusive design for busy professionals, with access to CAE experts sharing their experience as access consultants as well as project experience.
“They provide an overview of the guidance and practical strategies to embed inclusive design. They are perfect for anyone seeking continuous professional development and upskill their knowledge for creating and welcoming spaces for everyone.”
Caroline Lewis added: “I’m thrilled to be delivering the first session on accessible high streets. We’ll examine key design considerations, current regulatory frameworks, and best practice approaches to ensure accessibility is embedded in every stage of urban planning and development.”
Each webinar will include a question-and-answer segment for attendees.
