Ann Sawyer and Vin Goodwin have developed and delivered our Access Auditing & the Equality Act course since the original course launched in 1996.

Vin GoodwinTrainer Vin Goodwin

Vin is an NRAC-accredited access consultant with a BSc in architecture, and has worked in access and inclusion for over 25 years. His consultancy work spans a wide range of projects from small community initiatives to landmark developments including Historic Royal Palaces, Somerset House, and the London Olympic Aquatics Centre and Park. Vin delivers CAE training courses on a broad range of topics related to inclusive design, including our Design & NeurodiversityWheelchair Accessible Housing, and co-delivering our comprehensive Access Auditing and Equality Act course and award-winning Pathways Academy course.

Ann Sawyer

Ann is an architect and access consultant with decades of experience working at the forefront of the inclusive design field. Ann has developed and adapted our groundbreaking Access Auditing & the Equality ActTrainer Ann Sawyer training course over the course of 30 years, and began delivering the original course in 1996. Her work spans a wide range of projects, including many education and historic buildings, and major developments such as new buildings for Imperial College London, Brent Civic Centre and many residential schemes. Ann is co-author of the highly regarded publication The Access Manual. She is also a member of the South East Regional Design Review Panel, and a design surgeon for Urban Design London.
