This 2-hour training session is for people who influence the management of third sector organisation buildings and/or services based in London. Eligible participants are welcome from a wide range of service types from theatres to places of worship, museums, community centres, heritage buildings and sports facilities. There will be an opportunity to network and share ideas on improving access and the visitor experience across charity organisations.
The training will cover the following topics:
- The Equality Act
- An Introduction to inclusive design
- Managing Accessibility for disabled service users, staff and volunteers.
- Funding opportunities for London based charities
